Bespoke Coaching - For Training That Fits Your Needs & Your Life
We specialise in offering endurance sport coaching for triathlon, cycling, running, durathlon, swimrun, and aquabike. Whatever your ability, experience, or goals we can coach you to success in a balanced way.
We are firm believers in the notion that one way of training does not fit all. Everyone is unique. This is why we work with athletes on an individual basis. To enable us to offer the best possible training opportunities, we work with no more than 12 athletes at any time. We work with athletes who recognise that bespoke coaching, and the level of personal attention this allows for, works best for them.
All coaching begins with a full consultation which is free of charge. This allows us as coaches to build a profile of you as the athlete. We can discuss previous training and sporting backgrounds; analyse current strengths plus areas for development; review levels of performance; and map future goals and aspirations. We are firm believers in maintaining life balance so will ask you to take into consideration your life outside the sport and be aware if at times they may conflict.
We upload plans weekly to Training Peaks. Whilst we have an overall plan for your season, we upload weekly so that your next week always reflects what is happening for you in your life that week and how the previous week’s training has gone. You also have the opportunity to contact us on a daily basis to discuss your training or ask any questions.
We work with a small number of athletes at any time so we truly are giving you the attention you need. Depending on your goals, our coaching can include swim, bike, run, technique and form, strength and conditioning, and yoga. Motivation, advice on equipment, events, and race strategies are always included.

Bronze
- Be one of 10 athletes we work with to create individually crafted coaching sessions for your goal event(s).
- Free video chat consultation prior to signing up.
- Bespoke training session prescription of swim, bike, run + strength and conditioning workouts (according to your goals).
- Athlete profiling.
- Annual Training Plan created considering your goal events and sporting and any injury history (if relevant).
- Training written according to your availability and using the metrics that work best for you.
- Allows for up to 2 adjustments to the Annual Training Plan due to changes in racing or life events.
- Free TrainingPeaks Basic account – option to upgrade to our Coach-Paid Premium at additional cost but at lower rate than directly with TrainingPeaks.
- New training sessions delivered every 14 days with a minimum of 7 days viewable at a time to allow for life planning.
- Completed sessions reviewed every 7 days and feedback given as needed.
- Up to 1 managed session or calendar adjustments per week if needed.
- 30-minute video chat every 8 weeks.
- Unlimited coach contact by email or messaging app with response within 36 hours.
- Minimum coaching period 10 months with minimum notice period of 6 weeks if giving up your coaching place.
Silver

- Free video chat consultation prior to signing up.

- A bespoke plan for a single ‘A’ race with a preparation period of 3 months.

- Athlete profiling.
- Coach monitored zone setting.
- Training written according to your availability and using the metrics that work best for you.
- Session or calendar adjustment at week 6 if needed.
- Free TrainingPeaks Basic account.
- 12 week plan delivered at commencement of training.
- Completed sessions reviewed every 14 days and feedback given as needed.
- Advice on how to manage session or calendar adjustments if needed.
- 30-minute video chat in week 6 or 7.
- Unlimited coach contact by email with response within 48 hours.
- Minimum coaching period 3 months. Further 3 month periods can be arranged.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which platform do you use to deliver training?
We use TrainingPeaks to deliver your training schedule. A Free Basic plan is included in the cost of coaching. You can opt to include the cost of Coach-Paid Premium if preferred. This is cheaper than subscribing directly with TrainingPeaks. We will quote the cost that is current at the time of upgrading.
Which coach will work with me?
Some of our athletes are coached by just one of us. Others prefer to be coached by both of us. The choice is yours.
How can I communicate with coaches?
We are available between 08:00 and 18:30 each day. We can be contacted by Messenger, WhatsApp, or email. We offer regular video chats to facilitate more discussion about your progress and future direction.
How far ahead is my training delivered?
We know that you need to plan ahead so will outline your training phases up to your goal event but we deliver your sessions to your calendar a week or two at a time. This is so that we are truly prescribing training which reflects your recent progress and any commitments or events you have coming up in the next few weeks.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask only for one month’s notice if you decide to stop coaching.
